The construction schedule for the MIssion Belize Training Center has begun and Phase I is complete and under budget. Plans are being made for Phase II in early May. Phase III and final completion will be dependent on weather, availability of supplies and workers, and funding.

PHASE I - MARCH 20-28

Phase I was completed in record time with the Holy Spirit moving in amazing ways. Although there appeared to be no way the job could be accomplished by only a few men in a short time, each day goals were met and with each new challenge, God was one step ahead. Not only were the physical goals accomplished, but every cost estimate was not only met, but often under budget. Great is Thy faithfulness, Oh,God, my Father.

  From bare dirt with orange painted lines to trenches and wooden forms, from pouring cement to laying two rows of concrete blocks and pouring concrete, the work followed the schedule. The concrete truck resembled "fire from heaven" and the local villagers were amazed at sites they'd never before seen. Area residents helped with the task and were commmitted to helping with future construction.  Phase II will begin in early May.

PHASE II - MAY 10 - 18

The May trip is set and Phase II will begin. The team has added members and plans to pour about 5000 square foot of flooring and will install the underground drains. They will erect the block walls - around 5000 blocks - and then stucco with Surface Bonding Cement.

In addition, they will pour a beam around the top of the walls and prepare them for the erection of the metal roof.

While this seems to be humanly impossible in the short time there, the team is convinced that it will be a task only God can accomplish and they are excited to sit back and watch His works.

Be in prayer for the team of John Paget, John Grimes, David Nelson, Ken Franz, Matt Lewis, Don Mitchell, and Jerry Sisson as they prepare to being the next steps in God's amazing plan.
