I have had the privilege of serving as the pastor of First Baptist Church of Bellville since March of 2006. It is my desire to see people's lives transformed through the gospel of Jesus Christ. I entered my career of ministry in 1998 serving on staff at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. I am a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM 2002). My family is Jayme (wife), Parker (son), and Reagan (daughter).

Wade Cashion came on staff in August of 2007. He loves spending time with his wife Lauren and son Caleb. His primary responsibilities are the Youth and Education ministries.

Mike has been the Praise and Worship leader for the First Baptist Church of Bellville since May 2006. Prior to serving as Praise and Worship leader Mike served for ten years in a Christian Country Music Ministry called the Calvary Cowboys. Mike has been married to his lovely wife Tammy for eighteen years. They have two children Mackenzie (13) and Clint (10).

Gayle has been our part-time secretary since 2003, and has been involved in church secretarial work for many years.  She is also our Church Clerk, having served in that position at her previous church.
